Statement on Non-Discrimination and Affirmative Fair Housing:

Applicants with Disabilities and Reasonable Accommodations:

Lawson Green Apartments and its agents will make reasonable accommodations in policies or reasonable modification of common or unit premises for all applicants with disabilities (as defined in the above listed Acts or any subsequent legislation) who require such changes to have equal access to any aspect of the application process or to the development and its programs and services. The Agent will, for example, arrange for sign language interpreters or other communication aides for interviews during the application process. 

Improving Access to Services for Persons with Limited English Proficiency (LEP):

Lawson Green Apartments will take affirmative steps to communicate with persons who need services or information in a language other than English. The Agent shall translate all vital documents into foreign languages that are prevalent in the community. 

Management shall determine, as part of its obligation to take reasonable steps to ensure meaningful access to the Project and its programs by persons with Limited English Proficiency (LEP), those Oral Language Services (i.e. interpretation) and Written Language service (i.e. translation) that may be required in connection with tenant lease-up. 

Individuals who do not speak English as their primary language and who have a limited ability to read, write, speak or understand English can be Limited English Proficient or “LEP” are entitled to language assistance with respect to a particular type of service, benefit or encounter. Lawson Green will provide a translation/interpretation service (Certified Languages, Inc.) in order to communicate effectively with any applicant or resident in need of said service.
